CAN 2019 qualifiers: Coach Cisse named five new players

The coach of Senegal National football team Aliou Cisse unveiled this Friday the list of 23 man squad that will be playing against Madagascar on September 09, 2018 in Antananarivo.

For  this second day group A match  of  the  CAN 2019 qualifiers, Cisse has named five new players: Edouard Mendy from STADE DE REIMS , Sidy Sarr from CHATEAUROUX FC, Amath Ndiaye Diédhiou from GETAFE CF, Mbaye Diagne from KASIMPASA SPORT KULUBU and Pape Abdou Cissé of OLYMPIACOS FC.

Senegal is topping group A with 3 points.  Aliou Cisse’   boys defeated Equatorial Guinea 3-0 in Dakar during the first day of the qualifiers played  on June 10, 2017 in Dakar.

Goal keepers: Abdoulaye Diallo, Édouard Mendy, Alfred Gomis

Defenders : Kalidou Koulibaly, Lamine Gassama, Adama Mbengue, Youssou Sabaly, Ibrahima Mbaye, Salif Sané.

Midfielders: Cheikh Tidiane Ndoye, Cheikhou Kouyaté, Idrissa Gana Guèye,  Alfred Ndiaye, Sidy Sarr, Amath Ndiaye Diédhiou.

Strikers : Diao Keïta Baldé, Ismaïla Sarr, Opa Ngette, Moussa Konaté, Sadio Mané, Mbaye Hamady Niang,  Pape Abdou Ciss, Mbaye Diagne.
