FIFA satisfied with the Senegalese FA technical centers

A mission of the Fifa Regional Office based in Dakar on Saturday, visited the facilities of Jules Francois Bocande technical center  Toubab Dialaw and  the one of Guereo. The Director of the Regional Office Elhadj Wack Diop was very delighted to visit of those centers, which are respectively the result of FIFA Goal projects and a donation from the Confederation  of African Football(CAF) « The Toubab Dialaw Center is a well-constructed center that perfectly meets the requirements for football teams preparation» said the director of the regional football governing body.  « As for that of Guereo center, it is still of a higher standards, with more than 17 hectares of land reserve » he added, confirming that with the two centers, we will soon notice the development of football in Senegal.The visit also allowed the FIFA delegation to meet with members of the Senegal Football Federation Executive Committee and discuss about the FIFA Forward Program; a development program that looks at providing a full, tailor-made support for football development in each of its member associations.Thus, FIFA promised to support the Senegalese football federation, like any other federation, in its infrastructure policy, basically when it is known   that those infrastructures will contribute to the development of sport in the country. In addition to the refurbishment of the existing sports facilities, one of the priorities of the Senegalese Football Federation is the building of a federal hotel at Guereo . In addition, the federation is also looking at building a modern medical center, and having  of a good quality car fleet, and office equipment.

The President of the Senegalese Football Federation, Mr. Augustin Senghor, believes that these projects are in line with FIFA’s requirements to benefit from the funds of the first program forward 1.0 which are still available.
