The official delegation of Senegal in Kaluga received this Thursday the visit of Kaluga district Governor Vladimir V Polenkin. The visit is justified by the choice of the Senegalese authorities to settle the National team in Kaluga City during the first round of the World Cup.
The Governor has thus expressed his support to the Minister of Sports Mr Matar Ba saying that it is an honor for them to host a team in that city where no match is actually scheduled during the World cup World Cup.
However, Mr Polenkint is aware of the good facilities that exist in his city and hopes that Senegal is enjoying them and wishing the national team to make excellent results.
As for Sports Minister Matar Ba, he thanked the governor for their warm welcome , which shows the good relations between Senegal and Russia. In addition to the excellent relations between the two countries, Minister Ba who is also Mayor of Fatick City (in the center of Senegal) invites the Governor of Kaluga to develop a partnership between the two cities, which will promote the common values of both countries to the benefit of the population.
