Lamin K Bajo reelected as president of Gambia Football Federation

Incumbent  president   of  Gambia Football Federation Modou Lamin Kaba Bajo  has been  re-elected at the head of the  of the Gambia football  governing body  Saturday, August 18, 2018. Bajo who is a former sports minister of The Gambia secured  63 votes , beating  his challenger Malick N. K. Silla 2 votes.  Two invalid ballots have been registered.

Lamin Kaba Bajo will have Bakary Jammeh, Ebou Faye, and Lang-Tonbomg Tamba as first, second, and third vice president respectively.

This well organized election took place before the Confederation of African Football (CAF) supervisor  Augustin Senghor, president of the Senegalese Football Federation, two representatives of FIFA, the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Gambia and the President of the Gambian Olympic Committee.

This re-election of Lamine Kaba Bajo for a four-year term should allow Gambia to continue its way for the revival of its football.
